[ He has no doubts she will try to show a five-decker s'more into her mouth, and probably somehow make it work. He rotates his marshmallows over the fire as she sets aside her graham crackers and chocolate, his eyebrows inching high and higher. ]

Uh...a-are you gonna be able to hold it?!

[ her marshmallows are finished! quickly, she pulls them back and situates one each on two separate crackers (sticky work), then spears four more marshmallows onto her sticks again. ]

I suppose we shall find out, shan't we?

[ and, narrowing her eyes!! ]

Do you not have faith?

I-I mean, of course I do, there's just...physically, I dunno if...

[ You know what, he's never been much of a naysayer, and he isn't about to start now! If she thinks she can cram that many s'mores into her mouth, then he's not about to tell her she can't.

His attention fully on her now, he doesn't notice his own marshmallows melt and drip into the fire. RIP... ]

You can do it, Ali! Show those s'mores who the S'more Queen is!

[ smore queen, that' right.. she turns her marshmallows over on the stick, all that's left is to wait for them to properly roast. ]

Oh no! Your marshmallows..

...Huh? — Oh, shoot!

[ Well, there they go, his beautiful mallows! Groaning, he grabs a few more from the bag and spears them on his stick anew. They're going through these pretty quickly... ]

Guess I got a little distracted by your, uh, ambitions.

[ yes her... ambitions. which are almost complete!! the mallows are looking finely toasted. ]

What a waste..

[ few things are more sad than sacrificed food, especially sweet food. ]

Just, uh, think of it as 'em feedin' the fire. Now these new 'mallows will taste extra sweet!

[ Or something like that. While they roast, he turns his attention back to her stacking progress. ]

Those're...really coming along, aren't they?

[ she's pretty sure that's not how marshmallows or campfires work.. but anyway, she beams proudly. ]

They are, aren't they?

[ and now her marshmallows are roasted well enough, so she pulls them from the fire and starts to squish them onto the remaining graham crackers she has set own, and then she can begin to stack them all.. ]

[ Deciding to not even bother with the s'more set-up this time, he pulls his stick back from the fire and starts to eat the marshmallow right off it as she methodically stacks her graham crackers. One, two, three...four...wow, it just keeps getting taller and taller... ]

Uhh...Alisaie?

Hm?

[ she tilts her head toward him, her eyes still on the stack as she places, at last, the final cracker atop it. only then do her eyes flicker to his face. ]

Yes?

[ His eyes scan the tower — there's nothing it can be called but a tower — up and down, opens his mouth to speak, and then closes it again.

Rather than say anything one way or another, he's just going to keep quiet (for once) and see how this unfolds... ]

[ ... what is that face even for!! he doesn't think she can do it, does he? well she'll show him!! she might have a small mouth, but she has a big ambition... and appetite.

so!! carefully, she lifts the septuple stacked smore..

..and jams it right into her mouth, marshmallow and chocolate streaming everywhere, crackers breaking apart into huge, gooey hunks. she has to use the palms of her hands to sort of.. smash it all into her mouth. alisaie leveilleur, daughter of the esteemed house leveilleur, scion of the seventh dawn, child prodigy, and well-bred young lady - feast your eyes upon her. ]

[ SEPTUPLE...

Well, there she goes, cramming the whole thing in. This time, Prompto doesn't try to stop her, though he does pull out his camera, because if she's really going for it, she better believe he's going to take photographic proof. And so he takes pictures of all of this as it unfolds. Truly, she has gone where no tiny Elezen girl has gone before, chocolate and marshmallow streaming all over her face.

He glances up from behind his camera, his eyebrows high upon his face. ]

...Whoa. You really showed that thing who was boss.

[ And then he sets his camera down, so he can clap. Slowly. ]

[ ah, he's taking photos, of course he is.. whatever, their great great grandchildren will be awed and amazed by how fiercely grandma can put away some smores. ]

Mrnf - !

[ she starts, spraying graham cracker everywhere, but she soon thinks better of it all and finishes chewing. which takes. a long time..

but she gets there eventually and swallows it all down, her face a mess of chocolate and marshmallow. ]

Delicious..

[ Yep, this'll definitely be a great tale to retell by the fireside...

Once she finishes and declares her victory, Prompto is momentarily silent. He's never seen a display of fierce determination and willpower quite like that, and when all is said and done, there's nothing left for him to do but...

Laugh. Full and uproarious, laughter spills out of him, and he leans forward, holding his sides to keep them from splitting. ]

A-Ali! Th-that was — hahaha — amazing!!!

[ he bursts into laughter, and she does too, easily infected by his glee because i mean, she did just jam like 47 smores into her mouth, it must have looked spectacular.. she's still finding remnants behind her teeth and underneath her tongue which she's chewing while laughing and attempting not to choke. ]

I know, I know..

[ she says between peals of giggles, though she's wiping the sticky mess from her face with both hands all the while - it doesn't really remove it, just.. smears it around. leaning forward, she shoves both of her hands all over his face too, to share the love. ]

Don't laugh at me!

[ she says, while laughing at her. ]

[ Ah...this is truly a fate worse than death. She presses her sticky, chocolatey, marshmallowy fingers against his face and he yelps, pushing himself backwards to escape her reach. He doesn't want to break out! Doesn't she know how delicate his pores are?!

But even after her attack, he's laughing, still holding his stomach with one arm, even as he falls over onto his side and covers his face with the other. ]

S-sorry! I c-can't help it! You were just — just —

[ Nope, he loses himself to his laughter again. ]

[ covering his face was a very bad idea, because now his hair is just wide open for the attack.. and if you think she's too kind not to go for it, you'd be wrong. there they go, both sticky hands right in his hair!! ]

You're just jealous!

[ rubrubrub ]

[ Of course she goes for his hair. He should have expected it, but he doesn't and as her fingers sink into his locks, he screeches out: ]

Nononononnonono — not the hair, NOT THE HAIR!!!

[ The has crossed the line from being humorous to being flat-out assault! He swats her hands away, grabbing for her wrists, anything to spare his hair from this onslaught.

She might be cute, but he can only forgive so much. ]

[ HEHE LISTEN TO HIM SUFFER!! his shrieking and begging should probably urge her to stop, but no, it really just spurs her on, and with a wild grin, she smushes her hands in even harder!! at least until he's holding her wrists. alisaie is quite strong for her size, but prompto could still probably beat her in an arm wrestling contest.

so she slows. i mean, the damage is already done, anyway.. she speaks through pealing cackles. ]

[ Nine times out of ten, Alisaie telling him anything even remotely close to "you look good" would make him giddy and panicked, but in this context, he can only grimace around a bark of laughter, still holding onto her wrists so she doesn't attempt to retaliate further. ]

I find that hard to believe! I was lookin' so on point today, too...

[ Not that he put extra time in his appearance, knowing he was going to see her tonight...and now she's ruined it!!! ]

[ ah, she's still cackling.. she's going to be cackling for a long time, probably. ]

Oh? You did not look the same as always?

[ He has no reason to think it anything but a sick burn with the way she's been carrying on tonight!!! ]

'Course not! I used that super fancy hair gel I got in Struxta and everything...you wound me, Alisaie!

[ It sure isn't! But nothing is strong enough to repel marshmallow. And she just won't relent, even know! He is rescinding his crush on her, this is the absolute worst. ]

I-it just — makes him hair look all shiny 'n' nice!

[ Not like he was trying to impress her or anything!!! But since she won't stop her attack, he's going to go right for her sides while she ambushes his hair, digging his fingers in for a full on tickle assault!!! ]
