He doesn't relinquish his touch either, though he doesn't move any further, fingertips still just dancing over her knee. ]

but she sits back in her chair with her glass in one hand, sipping liberally, while her other drops to his hand on her knee, threading their fingers together. why is she rewarding him for this bratty behavior?? she's too good to him..

WOW THOUGH he's going right for the jugular!! alisaie narrows her eyes over the rim of her glass. ]

[ She is too good to him, and despite his attitude, he squeezes her fingers affectionately when they thread through his own, a little, subtle sign of how much he appreciates this, an attempt at normalcy, with the strange disrupted pattern their lives have taken on. ]

Wouldn't I? [ He drinks generously from his own wine glass. He's gonna need a refill real soon... ] I'd go to some pretty extreme lengths for a back rub, babe.

[ And for a blow job. Heyo! ]

[ okay maybe it's time to change tack.. he knows her too well to be afraid of her (sometimes), so she instead turns on the big eyes and the batted lashes, turning her lips down in a little pout. ]

You would deny me chocolate pancakes? You would do that to me?

[ look how huge her eyes are!! how shiny!! ]

[ Oh, dammit. Giving him the big beautiful elf eyes on their impromptu anniversary date?! This is cruel. How is he supposed to say no to a face like that?!

[ heh!!!! just according to keikaku..

.. she can't really hold it much longer though, most especially when he's making that cranky face at her, so soon enough she's dissolving into laughs, and leaning over to press a few quick, warm kisses to the corner of his jaw. her good boy has suffered enough. ]

Of course you wouldn't. You love me far too much to torment me so.

[ Ugh!! She wins this round...but of course, his sour expression melts beneath those quick kisses, his smile returning in an instant as he squeezes her hand in his again. ]

Yeah...I do love you that much. [ Sappy, but that's kind of the mood of the evening. ] Chocolate chip pancakes are back on, I guess.

[ sappy is almost always his mood, but tonight she will not only allow it, but indulge it, just as she had allowed him to pull out her chair!! ]

[ and then, with a frown and wrinkled nose - ]

Do you really think I am a gremlin?

[ He takes a long, well-timed sip of his wine, watching her over the rim of the glass. ]

...'Course not! There's no way a gremlin would be as good to me as you are. Not as sweet, or smart, or cute...not as good a kisser...or in bed...

[ Oh, look, time to top off the wine glass. ]

Now you're laying it on thick.

[ she says, through a grin, while also offering her glass forward for him to refill as well. ]

But I accept it, nonetheless.

Hm...good.

[ He refills both of their glasses before at last letting go of her hand and spooling another mouthful of spaghetti onto his fork. ]

I forgot the most important one, which is that you don't spell as bad, which would be a dealbreaker. [ ... ] ...Smell. I meant smell.

[ a giggle bubbles over her glass as she brings it in for another sip. ]

The wine already going to your head?

[ says she, who is under 5 feet tall, given that giggle it's already definitely gone to hers. ]

Nnnnno! It'd be a dealbreaker if you spelled bad, too. Especially with how big a book worm you are!

[ She may not be a gremlin, but she's definitely a bookworm! Finishing off the last of his spaghetti, he reaches for the stack of cheesecakes. ]

[ she even knows how to spell impeccable, probably. ]

One slice of each will do, to start.

Thought you might say somethin' like that...

[ So he dishes her up a slice of each cheesecake onto a desert plate before doing the same for himself. He's really gotta take a long run tomorrow, or else all this lazing about is going to get to him...

...but for now, wonderful company and delicious desserts. Gazing into her eyes, Prompto reaches forward to tuck a stray piece of her hair behind her ear. ]

...Hey.

[ That's all. Just. "Hey." ]

[ ah, those cheesecakes look so good.. alisaie follows them with her eyes, and once prompto has dropped the slices onto her plate she is immediately grabbing up her fork to dig into them.

though she pauses, mid-bite, when prompto tucks back her hair, then immediately flushes a pleasing shade of pink, like somehow this is all new again. ]

[ Look at that blush rising in her cheeks...he's still got it. But he's blushing like a moron himself as he brushes his thumb across her cheekbone, tender and gentle. ]

I got a better answer. You're not a gremlin, you're an Elezen goddess, and after we finish this cheesecake, I super duper wanna make out with you.

[ He withdraws his hand and pops a bite of cheesecake into his mouth, which may make her think he's done...but no. ]

...And dance? Dance, maybe. Is it warm in here? Should I turn the air up? ...Hey, I think you're beautiful. We should get married.

[ He snickers generously at this, like he thinks it's hilarious. ]

[ that pink flush spreads right to her ears, and she grins widely, turning to nip at the tip of his thumb before he pulls it away. elezen goddess is much better than a gremlin!! he's earning his points back. ]

Mm, I have a secret for you..

[ she says, conspiratorially, around a mouthful of cheesecake, and then she's leaning toward him again so she can "whisper" in his ear. ]

.. we are already married. We can make out any time you like.

[ a revelation!! ]

[ So drunk Prompto is better at earning points than sober Prompto is...duly noted. He gasps loudly when Alisaie whispers that particular revelation to him. Who would've thunk it??? ]

Ah! We are?! How convenient! [ He leans in to kiss her on the corner of her ear. ] You better hurry up and finish that cheesecake, then.

[ Before his drunk thoughts wander somewhere else...like truth or dare, or a tickle attack. ]

[ don't tickle attack her while she's consuming cheesecake?? the results would be disastrous. washing down her big mouthful with the last of her glass of wine she sits back a little, and turns her head to look at him. it takes a little longer than it normally might.. ]

Why? Do you have.. plans?

[ she says, super suggestively, leaning in to touch her forehead to his but she incorrectly estimates the distance and it's a bit more of a knock than a touch. ]
